The roads less travelled

The roads less travelled

Hi, this is my first attempt at blogging….but I am certainly looking forward to it.
My name is Melville Botha, and I have been married to my darling wife, Madelein for 27 years. We have 3 daughters, of whom 2 have been adopted. We are also the proud grandparents of little Kara.
As fulltime missionaries since 2008 we have experienced good times and some challenging times. My aim is to take you on the roads less travelled using this blog. We will share our ups and downs but most importantly the Life Lessons that we have learned.
So many times, we find our life adventures when we least expect it, travelling on roads less known to our fellow human beings. Travelling these roads not only touch our lives in unexpected ways, but it also makes life worth the living, because we know that we never travel alone.
Warm greetings from a rather chilly Polokwane in the Limpopo Province of South Africa.

Fund Raising Initiative

We have taken some beautiful photos during our mission trips. We printed them on canvas and blocked them…
A donation of R700.00 will secure you an A3 print of your choice and a donation of R1500 an A2 size print.
We are starting this fund raising initiative for the Ministry as our funds are extremely low, but we would also like to give something back for your support.
Please contact me directly on bothamelville@gmail.com or sent2serveministries1@gmail.com should you be interested.
God bless you all 🌿

PARTY TIME!!!

PARTY TIME!!!

This past Sunday we held our annual children’s year-end function at “Die Drift”, a beautiful venue just outside of town. The 120 children all form part of our “MANNA FEEDING SCHEME PROJECT”. The MANNA PROJECT provide food parcels to 88 families, consisting of 277 individuals. We are humbled by the response of friends of the Ministry. Your donations, contributions and assistance made it once again possible to treat these needy kids. May GOD bless you all and put a smile on your face, just like you did with these kids this past Sunday.
