Donations

Throughout the year we are blessed with various donations - helping us to help others. Sometimes we remember to take photos, on other days we hand out these donations without remembering to record it photographically. Every November I need to sit down and look back at the year and if we have “achieved” our goals. It is also compulsory to write a report to the Department of Health and Social Development where we need to list the objectives achieved during the year.

As I scanned through the few photo’s that we have taken during the year I can but only stand amazed at God’s provision and faithfulness. Once again He has been Jehovah Jireh, the God that Provides. We have been blessed with food, clothing, bedding, crockery, toys, furniture, and a big Wendy home for a needy single mom, and so much more. Truly, we have been blessed to be a blessing.

As we are required to issue a receipt for each donation, be it financial or “goods in kind” it gives us a good idea of how much we have received and given back to the needy families. Upon receiving these donations we usually make up the parcels immediately, getting them ready for distribution.

Each donation, be it financially, physically or through involvement in the Ministry is highly appreciated. Thank you for making it possible for us to Give Comfort and Take Care of others in need…

Psalm 41: 1-3 Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor. The LORD rescues them in times of trouble. The LORD protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity and rescues them from their enemies. The LORD nurses them when they are sick and eases their pain and discomfort.
